Synopsis
The coin starts at Georgia’s Voice Preloved Boutique, passing through Cornwall. It opens the door for a young woman and helps her take a step forward.
The coin then rolls to a group of young women in a café, enjoying each other's presence. The coin sinks through the table and finds a young woman alone and struggling mentally.
The coin blooms into a daffodil, representing hope and resilience. With this support, she finds belonging and a family in Georgia's Voice.

During a student exchange, I completed my first live client brief for the charity named Georgia's Voice, called A Little Goes A Long Way.
My primary focus was developing the storyboard for seamless transitions and modelling the film's key props, such as the coin.
I concentrated on using artistic metallic texturing to draw attention to the coin. I was experimental with the daffodil, such as rainbow variation, to emulate its magical nature while being consistent with the film's aesthetic.
My goal in the animation was to evoke a sense of cosiness as three characters found warmth with each other. Compositing entailed consistent color grading as well as extra effects like glows and motion blurs.
